Sandata Technologies employees demonstrate a positive and fun work culture

The Sandata Technologies team supports various philanthropy events; some big and some small, but the team always comes together and it gives it their all! Our team is incredibly generous and helpful no matter what the task is. I’ve been working at Sandata for over 10 years and it amazes me how our leadership team truly backs the team in whatever it is we do. In return, our executive management, along with the HR team hosts some pretty awesome internal events for all our employees to participate in.

This summer we got to partake in a “Town Hall” meeting in which we heard from leadership on company updates and projects. The meeting had a Luau theme which included a Tiki Smoothie Bar and lunch! We’ve had days with bagels, pizza, ice cream truck, popsicles, muffins, lemonade and iced tea, fruit, and even a make your own S’mores day! Oh yeah, and a Puppy Party! What better way to spend your afternoon than hanging out with adorable puppies. These events are a perfect way for departments to mingle and enjoy each other’s company and just have fun. Sandata really offers a great work atmosphere and instills a fabulous culture among its employees, both onsite and remote.

In June our team participated in SunriseWalks, an event that helps make it possible for children with cancer to attend summer camp for free. Sunrise has over 8 camps throughout the United States and Sandata has participated in the Long Island event for the last three years. This year our team raised over $18,000 and sent 3 children to camp! It was our best year yet, and we are looking forward to next year. We did some fun events to help raise money which included a bake sale, meet and greet with raffles, snack cart, and employees reached out to their families and friends for monetary donations. It’s wonderful to see everyone participate in the events as they are truly passionate about this wonderful cause.

In addition to Sunrise, our team participated in the Long Island Cares food drive that we held in the office during the summer. To make it fun for everyone, we had contest. Whichever department brought in the most items, they got an ice cream party! What better way to cool off in the summer?!

To kick off the fall events, we held a back to school drive in August for the Family & Children’s Association of Long Island. Once again, there was a tremendous amount of support from the Sandata team. We helped many families throughout Long Island by providing their kids with supplies for school and FCA of LI was very appreciative. For the months of September and October, we are also holding a clothing drive for Big Brother Big Sisters of Long Island. I’m confident that by the end of October we will have had an incredible turn out as well. On Halloween we will be having a costume contest, games, and trick or treating in the office! November we will have our version a “Friendsgiving” get together with lots of yummy foods. In December we will have our annual “Cookie Mixer” where employees bring in their favorite cookies to share with the team. In addition we will have another Town Hall meeting, followed by the company holiday party!

Sandata is dedicated to providing its employees with a healthy work environment. We provide a variety of resources and tools to help our employees be successful and manage a work-life balance. We are always seeking talented individuals to join our creative and innovative group. Check out Sandata’s fun and rewarding environment! www.sandata.com/careers
